Thanks ladies, lovely to hear from you. My mother is still with us but in another state Debbie so I only get to speak to her now and then but she emails me every week and I email her back. And Karen, I know what you mean. I've had two of my daughters (the youngest actually and in their low 20s) already say to me how much they appreciate what I said and did for them. That is such a blessing.

It's true. We do become our mothers. The older I become, the better I understand my mother's discipline. My daughter's reaction, of course, is also a reflection of how I used to react to my mother before I really understood her. I hope my daughter will someday appreciate me as I have come to appreciate my mother for all of the loving advice.

What an absolute gorgeous looking blog, and such lovely words. Boy, I can so relate to this passage, and it also makes me think that hindsight is such a wonderful thing...Losing my mother really made me grow up, and I know now, the many mistakes I made through the years were because I could hear her voice and words of wisdom, but I wasn't really tuned in. I take comfort in knowing the lessons she taught were never ever lost, and the rest has come directly from God, so I am sure mum would approve!

I really appreciate this post, God bless!
